Many years ago, well, just about five, I stared another blog. And in that blog I’d write down just about everything that happened to me… or to me and my kids.

I’d also write quite a bit about what I did when I was younger. And all was good and fun for a great, long while. Well, almost five years anyway.

As my boys got older and more Internet savvy they’d occasionally stop by the blog to see what I’d said about our recent camping trip or canoeing adventure. The problem was, interspersed among those stories, were tales involving the stupid things I did when I was younger. Now, I fully expect my kids to do plenty of stupid things as they grow up, however, I don’t think they need to be getting ideas of idiocy from me… their father. And I’m certainly not looking forward to the day one of the kids does something stupid and part of their defense is, “well, when you were my age you got arrested, so this is really nothing.”

With those things in mind, I pared down the old blog and moved a bunch of stuff here.

(After all, I already owned the domain. I hated to see it go to waste.)

I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world.

My wife and I have more teenagers than you'd think a couple could possibly have and maintain their sanity. They keep us very busy and the time my wife and I have alone is not as much as we'd like. As I'd prefer to spend that time with her doing things other than droning on about my oddball notions, or stupid things I've done as a kid, I put them here.

Where my wife can read about them at her leisure. Over and over again. With wine, as needed.
