Who do you write like?
I found out about this at J-Walk blog.
According to the I Write Like website, and depending on the post, I write like:
Mark Twain
Margaret Atwood
David Foster Wallace
Stephen King
Dan Brown
The last two analyses came from posts at my other blog. I thought the Stephen King bit caught the tone of the post I snipped rather well.

I went all the way back to my naughty story Twilight Express and analyzed it. Allegedly I write like James Joyce, although the analyzer doesn’t tell you which of his styles you’re emulating.

Blue Violet: The Stephen King one had me worried about myself. I mean, I’d be all over the making money aspect… but the horror part would trouble me.
Melina: James Joyce… I’ve got to reread some of his stuff. My recollection of it from college was that it was boring, boring, boring. Yet, he’s famous and colleges feel compelled to make kids read his stuff. Maybe it would be more interesting now that I”m older.

If you’re still nervous about James Joyce, read Dubliners first. It’s a collection of short stories I thought were especially good.
